The hellef doheem project is a 13 minute promotional video for one of Luxembourg’s largest companies. With over 1,500 employees Hellef Doheem has become one of the most recognisable elderly care foundations in the country. Their 500 strong fleet of cars can be seen all over the country. Hellef Doheem provide services such as elderly people’s day care centers but, the emphasis of the foundation comes in their “at home” care service. Trained nurses and other staff come to the client’s home and either perform daily medical procedures or simply help out around the house with cooking, cleaning and even help the client going to the shops. Their dedication to precision and quality was culminated in late 2006 when Sicher Doheem (a 24/7 panic button service) won the prestigious “Quality award of Luxembourg”.
Liam McEvoy of Infectious Dreams was given the honor of Directing, Filming, Editing and Authoring the promotional DVD between August and September 2007. Upon completion of the project Liam stated that although tiring, the project was “one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. My understanding of filming techniques and capturing a desired message through angles and focuses plus learning very quickly how to edit on Avid Xpress pro has given me a lot of confidence in my abilities going into the new university year.”
